At Gumlink, we work constantly to improve the release of flavours, sweeteners and active ingredients, in order to create chewing gum with the right taste, functionality and uniformity during chewing.

Controlled release of flavours and sweeteners
As many flavour substances in chewing gum are not released when gum is chewed, it is a challenge for product developers to create gum that delivers a long-lasting taste. At Gumlink, however, our many years of research have given us a deep understanding of release mechanisms, which enables us to create chewing gum with optimal release, intensity and longevity. With support from suppliers and knowledge centres, our internal specialists work closely with customers to implement effective release mechanisms into their products. In this way, we further develop our understanding of flavours and sweeteners.
